Description

Integrating Officio with your website Every business is unique, and your website should accurately reflect your brand. In many cases, you’ll use social-media tie-ins and other tools to increase your web presence. Officio adds to your web toolbox by allowing you to integrate our client portal and immigration assessments with your website. Webpage Layout The layout of your webpage refers to how information is sorted and presented on your website. Understanding layout is important to understanding how and where to integrate Officio with your website. Whether your website is built by a professional, or by you, most websites tend to fall into one of three categories of layout. “Left menu”, “Top Menu”, and “Right Menu” pages. Pages designed in this way are divided into segments called frames, and the content in these frames can load independently of one another. See the images below for a clarification. Left Menu pages have the links to internal pages and content on the right hand menu, typically with a link to the main page from the header. When clicked, links load in the larger right-hand side frame. This type of layout is common with webpages made with Drupal (a programming language) or drag-and-drop website builders, or with Wikis.

Right Menu pages have almost the same layout as Left Menu pages, but everything is flipped so the menus are on the right. This webpage layout type is more common with business sites built using blogging software.

Top Menu pages are most commonly found built using WordPress, though most drag-and-drop website builders will let you insert new pages of this type into your website. This is the best choice of website layout to use for embedding the assessment questionnaire or client login, as it gives more space in which to display the content.

Officio Login and Assessment Before we continue, it is important to note that both the Officio client login and assessment questionnaire need a minimum of 920×1000 pixels of area to display properly. A pixel is one portion of what the screen can display, relative to its size. When you adjust the screen resolution of your monitor, the numbers it is giving you is the maximum pixels it can display (e.g. 1024×768). Most new PCs and monitors display the desktop with an average size of 1600×900 pixels or greater. If you are going to use a website with a Left or Right menu layout, be sure that the main body frame is at least 920 pixels wide.

Embedding the Login and Assessment To embed the Officio client login and assessment you will need to use an element that is called an “iframe”. I-frame stands for “inline frame” and it allows a webpage to be displayed within the context of another page, placing the document within its own independent frame. Using the code we provide below, you can insert your questionnaire and client login within your website. Here is an example showing the layout of a Top Menu page with an i-frame displaying the first page of the Officio assessment questionnaire:

Here is what a Top Menu page will look like with the standard Officio login page displayed, and what it looks like using the code below, which appears without the Officio Logo so that you can use your own logo or branding to tie the login into your website:

iFrame Codes Here are the custom HTML codes you will need to use to embed the above into your website. You can give these codes to your webmaster or you can copy and paste them if you are building the site yourself. Client Login Code

Assessment Code

On the Assessment Code, that part where it says ((insert questionnaire URL here)) you will have to replace it with your own unique URL which you can find in your Prospects Manager in the Admin Section....
