**Context Summary:
Quantum mechanics is the branch of physics that work with small objects and the quantization of various entities specifically energy. The first indication that energy is quantized came from blackbody radiation
where the emission of EM radiation by an object with an emissivity of 1. The photoelectric effect is the process where EM radiation ejects electrons from material, and Einstein proposed that photons are the quanta of EM radiation having energy. As Einstein explained all characteristics of the photoelectric effect are because of the interaction of the individual photons with individual electrons. Photon energy is responsible for a lot of characteristics of EM radiations specifically at high frequencies. Photons also have momentum and it is related to their energy. EM radiation can have either a particle or a wave which is called particle-wave duality. Particles also have a wavelength that is covered un the de Broglie wavelength. Additionally, the matter has the same interference characteristics as any other wave. * If you are describing a quantity also indicate if it is a vector or a scalar and indicate unit. Include the definition formula for each quantity and all formulas that might help in solving the problems on the exam. *IYOW means “In your Own Words” **What did you learn from solving the cited problems that you can use in working out new problems in the future?...
