_____________________________________________________________________________________________ ___________________ RATIONALE The National Government under the leadership of President Rodrigo Duterte has been implementing Executive Order No. 70 that institutionalizes the whole-of-nation approach in attaining inclusive and sustainable peace in the country. In a bid to achieve the advocacy to end local armed conflict, the Philippine National Police and partner national government agencies have been stepping up its activities to build community relations and establish partnerships in different sectors. With the formation of Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo or KKDAT, the quest toward sustainable peace and ending local armed conflict is closer to fruition and milestones have been achieved in bringing forth peace in communities. Thus, there is a need to continue the advocacies of KKDAT on a national scale involving various youth groups through the conduct of meaningful activity focused on bayanihan, learning and arts. KKDAT Natin Yan! Sining Bayanihan aims to promote the national agenda for peace through empowering the youth as the nation's future leaders. The activity, spanning over a week, coincides with the national celebration of Araw ng Kalayaan on June 12, a fitting reminder of the youth's important role in democracy. OBJECTIVES     

To conduct a nationwide (cluster) sining bayanihan activity involving youths from different sectors To promote the national agenda on peace and ending local armed conflict To propel KKDAT as an active movement of youth leaders who support government peace-building initiatives To establish linkage among different organizations with the common goal of sustainable peace To provide an avenue of growing interest on various trends and arts for the youth to avoid vices such as illegal drugs

METHODOLOGY The guidelines are as follow. 1. The KKDAT Natin Yan! Sining Bayanihan is open to all youths up to the age of 30 from all provinces of the Philippines. 2. The themes are as follow: - Performing arts (dance and singing) - Visual arts (architecture, ceramics, drawing, filmmaking, painting, photography, and sculpting) - Literary arts (storytelling, drama, spoken or written poetry)

3. The culminating activity will be on June 12, the national celebration of Araw ng Kalayaan, wherein the most impressive performances will be presented again. 4. All performances must be recorded via video, through HD cellphone or camera, with clear audio, maximum of 12 minutes, and must be sent via email to [KKDAT EMAIL], [email protected] and CC to [email protected] 5. Submission of entries will be announced. Include in your email:  Name/s of the performers  Organization, if available  Age and address  Contact number/s 6. All materials will be uploaded in the KKDAT Philippines YouTube channel and credits will be given to the performers. 7. Provincial/city/municipal police offices will help the youth in the conduct of their performances based on public health standards. 8. Performances must depict the theme Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo, Sining ang Kalayaan Mo. 9. Videos with the most impressive content based on originality, creativity, engagement and meaning will get citation from KKDAT and PNP....
