Sanctity of life - our life is more important as we are on the ‘pinnacle of creation’, so we are more important than animals. If we need animals to test for a cure, then it is justified to do so.

Murder because it is completly ending a life which God has not allowed to do. In the 10 commandments in the Bible, it says “do not kill” and in the Guru Granth sahib it says “the divine spark is in her” so we should not kill God’s creation as it has the divine spark (sikhism) and God ordered us not to kill directly in the 10 commandments (christianity).
