Part 1: Creating your first Web page with Notepad++ For this course, all of our Web pages will be created using a simple text editor, Notepad++ . This is a free application, which you can download and install. Use Google to search for Notepad++ if you wish to install it on your personal computer. Software applications used in your program of study are available via the Mohawk Apps site. You can access this at the college using the Apps icon on the desktop, and you can access it from your personal computer using the following URL http://apps.mohawkcollege.ca 1. Open Notepad++

2. In Notepad++, enter the following text exactly as shown, while substituting your own name in place of the fictitious John Doe student.



Replace John Doe with your name and the number 000123456 with your student ID Place this text as a comment at the top of the code for each submitted web page Failure to include this statement means your work may receive a deduction of a maximum of 10% of the Lab grade. All labs must be created this semester. A lab from a previous semester that is submitted for this semester will be graded as 0.
