Upload your solutions for this assignment on Canvas, as a pdf file that you knit using R Markdown, by the due date/time. Make sure you include your R code when you knit the pdf. You will not receive full credit unless your R code is included. Unless otherwise noted, the same goes for all of the other HW assignments and labs in this course. As a general rule, show all of your work in your homework solutions. The Lab assignment is to work through Section 2.3 of JWHT. The data for this lab are in Auto.data and Auto.csv. In your solutions that you turn in, the only R results you need to include are your boxplots that show how the number of cylinders affect mpg, and also your pairwise scatter plot of mpg, displacement, horsepower, weight and acceleration. Based only on these plots, do you think acceleration or number of cylinders is a better predictor of mpg? Explain your choice and upload the Word file to Canvas. If you cannot finish in lab, you have until the due date/time to turn it in.
