Activity 2 Revisit the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST) found in the LDM2 Course Overview. Reflect on your self-assessment from Activity 1. What particular professional standards in the PPST do you need to focus on to effectively use the LDMs in relation to the content and pedagogy of the learning area/s you are teaching? Write your answer and other insights in your Study Notebook. Answer: The particular domain in the PPST that I think I need to focus on to effectively use the LDM is the sixth domain which is the Community Linkages and Professional Engagement highlighting the engagement of the parents and the community to the learning of the students specially in new normal setting wherein there is a need of sharing of resources, volunteer assistance (of the parents) and mentoring of students which is now a shared responsibility of the teacher, the parents, the community, and the student himself amid the Covid-19 pandemic. I need to build strong relationship with the guardians/parents of my students to deliver the quality supervisory among them and to work collaboratively with my co mentors in addressing the learning needs of the students.
