Other instruments start getting involved, still moving at quite a slow place. Melody and symphony take place. Has a kind of dark feeling attributed to it. Starts getting much more faster. Turns into a beat that I have heard often. Very joyful and many instruments included. From 11:33, pace picks up a little. A lot of secondary instruments. Sounds kind of like war music. A lot of cannons towards the end. Similar to the beginning but more involvement of cannons. B. “Russian Trepak Dance” from the Nutcracker , Tchaikovsky 1:02:26 – 1:03:33 Starts off with a song I have heard often. The beat is fast, heavy emphasis on violins and horns. I hear bells in the back, kind of like a tambourine. Ends quite fast. Similar throughout the whole minute. C. Violin Concerto, Mvt. III, Johannes Brahmns 0:00-3:00 Starts off with a medium tempo, violin in the beginning, other instruments start taking place in the back, maybe other violins at different pitches and speeds. This song is full of nothing but violins. It could get really slow and fast.

D. Symphony No. 9, Mvt. IV, Antonin Dvorak 0:00 -1:56 AND 4:45 – 6:30 AND 9:00-11:35 Starts off quite chaotic and fast. Takes turns going into a slow tempo and rhythm, and then quiets down. From 9:00, goes back similar to the beginning, quite chaotic. I have definitely heard this song before. E. “Il Vecchio” (The Old Castle) from Pictures at an Exhibition, Modest Mussorgsky 05:08 -9:43 Starts off very slow, kind of quiet. Seems to be something similar to a violin. Two violins, one in the back with a rhythm. Stays slow throughout, a very slow song with a similar beat. F. Also Sprach Zarathustra, Richard Strauss, 0:00-1:48 Starts off quiet, nothing going on. Little by little a beat is catching on. It gets faster and faster. It’s kind of like the song they use before people do stunts. The beat moves in intervals with a little beat in between for its pause. G. “Clair de Lune,” Claude Debussy ALL Starts off with a piano. Very slow rhythm. Pauses in between. Piano stays quite slow the whole time. Only a few keys being used. H. The Rite of Spring, Igor Stravinsky 0:00-5:34 People start off clapping. Starts off very slow. Little instruments involved. Some type of horn being used. It starts picking up pace a little. A lot of other instruments start making their own noise in the back. Goes back to how it started I. Pierrot Lunaire, Op. 21, “Der Monflek” ALL First song I head so far with a voice. Voice is in the beginning kind of mickey mousing the instruments. The instruments are very high pitched and so are the womans voice. The womans voice disappears. It starts getting quite down and sad. J. Five Movements for String Quartet, op. 5, mvt. III, Anton Webern 5:35-6:17 Starts off very quiet. Then all of a sudden the instruments take a loud charge. Instead of making noise the whole time, the instruments take many pauses in between. Pauses tend to be at least a second. K. Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta, mvt. III, Béla Bartók 0:00-3:50 Starts off very quiet. A piano high pitched with the same key being played repetitively. Then extreme silence. Then violins start taking charge and do their own symphony. Other instruments start taking charge and get quite loud. L. Afro-American Symphony, mvt. IV, William Grant Still 0:00-6:01 Starts off immediately with a violin playing and other instruments. Little piano in the back. Although a lot of instruments involved. Sounds very different compared to European choirs. M. Fanfare for the Common Man, Aaron Copland. ALL Starts off with huge drums. Horns start taking place. A continuous beat keeps playing. It is very consistent with the same beat. I keep hearing a big drum in the back repetitively after the beat. N. Four Dance Episodes from Rodeo, “Hoedown”, Aaron Copland

Starts off very fast. Sounds like a country choir song. It is very rapid and fast. There are a lot of instrument involved for this song. There is a instrument I never heard before in the back it is almost like the triangle instrument. It calms down, then goes back fast at a different beat. O. Symphony No. 5, mvt. IV, Dmitri Shostakovich 7:19-10:51 Starts off extremely slow. Not much instrument involvement. Little by little, instruments start to cooperate more, and a clear beat is identified. Many other instruments are involved. A high pitched instrument in the back, everything is sort of lower pitched....
