What I’ve learnt from my mistakes: 1. Listening skill
I personally think section 3 in this test is not too difficult for me. To illustrate, the speed of speakers is not too fast, thus I could hear clearly and follow their ideas. As a result, I just had two incorrect answers in this section, which I have never achieved before. However, the mistake that I made in question 29 is a basic spelling mistake. In this question I did not pay attention to the plural of the answer, hence I wrote “article” instead of “articles” as the correct answer. Besides, in this test, thanks to using note-taking skill I did not miss information, and it helps me and guess some words which I heard not clearly. In addition, in question 25, I wrong with answer is “buy” because of speaker’s accent. I was confused when heard this question, and did not understand what he was saying. In conclusion, I think I should listen more to get used to the accent like that. 2. Vocabulary As I mentioned before, this section is not too hard for me, so vocabulary in this is quite familiar with me. However, there are some interesting words related to magazine and media words. For example, “journalism” means the news stories that are written, “proofread” means read and correct a piece of written or printed work, and “comedian” means a person whose job is to make people laugh by telling jokes or funny stories.

What I’ve learnt from my mistakes: 1. Listening skill As a matter of course, section 4 always is the most difficult section, so that I made many mistakes in this. Firstly, in question 32, I was wrong because I did not hear clearly this word should be in this question, and I could not guess the word. In reality, I heard it is “web” or something like that, I know it is not unreasonable word for this blank, but I could not think of any other words at that time. Therefore, I decided to write this answer is “web”, and the correct answer is “wealth”. Secondly, the other mistake is word selection. In question 34 and 37, I wrote an unnecessary word. It let me know that select right word is very important. 2. Vocabulary The content of this section is about tourism and technology thus I learned some useful new words that I can apply to my talk about this topic. For instance, “revenue” means the money that a government receives from taxes or that an organization receives from its business; “entrepreneur” means a person who makes money by starting or running businesses. Besides, “appeal” is a valuable word for me, and I will use it more in my future talk about tourism....
