REFLECTION ON EXPERIENCE / TASKS I have been assigned by the supervisor to design a new feedback postcard. The content is a bit different because of the changes in the question. The feedback postcard is created to collect the response from the teachers and students for the outreach program to see the impact of the program. Through this task, I can be more creative in doing the design and I have reflected in taking the Qualitative Research Method subject where the feedback postcard will contain the qualitative data. I feel very determined because I can apply the knowledge that I got from the class. After finished designed the postcard, I continued with the production work where I started to pack the Soap Kit. The kit is one of the initiatives from the Fast Lab that will help the student in learning the science while having fun at the same time. Today, we have more workers in the production team. Being in the production team, it teaches me to give good cooperation to my teammates to

finish the work on time. Working in a group, it teaches me about work accomplishment where when we work in a team, our task can be completed faster compared when doing the work alone. Besides that, when I work in a team, my productivity is increasing because I will follow the timeline of the task and the task will be done on time. Meeting for the upcoming program: Terengganu Tour and workshop

For today, I continued to write the report. In the report, I include the feedback data that we get from SMK Putrajaya Presint 11 (2). The feedback is in the qualitative data. Then, I have been assigned to edit the program tentative for the Terengganu Tour that will be conducted on 15 until 19 July 2019. I need to set a suitable date and time for the program. Also, I need to set a suitable activity that we will conduct during the tour. From this task, it helps me to make a suitable decision that liaises with the situation. After that, I attended the meeting for the upcoming program which is Terengganu Tour. My supervisor has brief us on the program tentative and the masterplan. We have been given a certain task to be completed during the tour. As for me, I have been assigned to distribute the feedback form to the students and teachers at the school. Through this meeting, it teaches me to make a decision that is suitable to our situation. Somehow, I need to think

carefully before making any decision as it will involve many people. But I am glad that I can develop myself to be better in making the decision. Experience teaches us to be more mature in making a decision. After the meeting, I continued to write the report. For today, I continue to edit the program tentative because of some adjustment that I need to fix. After that, I need to prepare the letter to be sent to the school to get permission to conduct the Science Show at the school. Overall, there are 7 schools that I need to approach. I also called the management of the school to inform about our program. I need to set a suitable time because we will go to 7 schools in a week. Some of the staff agree with our program. Through this task, I can develop my communication skills as I need to communicate with the school staff and it is a telephone call as it is not a face to face meeting. I continue to edit the letter because there is an adjustment that I need to do. For example, I need to change the tentative because there is a school that requests to change the time. After that, I print the letter. For today, I need to get the signature of my supervisor that need to be included in the letter. After that, I have sent the letter through the email. After finished emailing the letter, I write the program report.

REFLECTION ON EXPERIENCE / TASKS I have to reply to the email regarding the Terengganu Tour program. Only 5 schools out of 7 schools are agreed with our program. All of them has received the letter. At the same time, I need to do the adjustment of the program tentative because of the changes that are requested from the school. For today, I stay at the office until 1 pm because I need to go to Melaka for a workshop. I arrived at Melaka around 2 pm. The workshop started with the icebreaking session where I can know about my colleagues that work with me in the same office. Through this activity, I able to know more about my colleagues. There are two different perspectives that I can see from this activity which is their personality inside and outside the office. I feel grateful because of having them as my teammates. After that, we are discussing the upcoming program of FastLab. In the discussion, my supervisor has presented the future program of FastLab. At night, we continue with the briefing from Nazurah about the introduction of 3D printing. It is one of the new projects that will be conducted in the future. Being a psychology student, it helps me to adapt to the environment. Although the things that I learned at FastLab is a bit different from my

course, I still take the opportunity to learn and discover new things because all that I need is keep learning no matter where you are. For the second day, we started to work on the proposal of the upcoming program for August. I need to work on the proposal for ‘Jelajah Sekolah Di Negeri Sembilan (Satu Minggu Satu Sekolah) that has been assigned to me. For this task, I need to find the school around Negeri Sembilan and included it into the proposal. For this proposed program we will conduct the Science show that will include the lecture demonstration and hands-on activity. In the lecturedemonstration, the staff will show the gaseous that we have around us such as nitrogen, oxygen, helium, and hydrogen. From this task, I can know how to make the program proposal. After finished work on the proposal, I need to present the proposal to my supervisor and my colleagues. After the presentation, I need to do some correction of the proposal in terms of the budget and estimated date. From the presentation, I able to improve my presentation skills and I become more relaxed when doing the presentation. Before the presentation, I have jotted down the points that I want to say. It is easier because I have made the preparation.

On the last day of the workshop, we were divided into three groups for a game. The goal of this game is to strengthen the bond between the colleagues. There are 12 checkpoints that we need to complete. This game teaches me to give good cooperation to my teammates to finish the mission. And this applies to me when working in a team at the office settings. We need to give our commitment and support as a team player because working in a team required us to focus and put our effort on the task. In the end, the task will be completed on time and we will satisfy working with a team. For me, working in a team is better than working alone because we have more synergy and we can have high productivity in doing the work. In the closing ceremony, our trainer has reminded us with the motivation words like never give up in doing something and take every chance that we have to improve ourselves to be better in the future. For today, I continue my work with editing the letter for Terengganu Tour program because there is the latest update in the program tentative. The changes are only applicable to one school. I need to aware of any adjustment because most of the participants will follow the tentative. By doing this task, it teaches me to be aware and

alert with any changes because it will affect my work. After finishing editing the letter, I send the latest letter to the school. By doing this task, it reflects me to do the work as soon as possible because it involves with other side and they may need some time to confirm it. Next, I continue to edit the project proposal. Then, I attend the second meeting for the Terengganu Tour program. We need to update the latest progress for the upcoming program. By attending the meeting, I can decide on any situation that needs some changes. Besides, I am following the timeline in completing the task and I can complete the task on time. After the meeting, I print the feedback form for 300 pieces and this form will be distributed at the students during the tour. Today, I continue to print the feedback form for another 200 pieces. After that, I have prepared the box that contains the hands-on activity such as DIY perfume, slime and shirk art keychain. The preparation needs to be done earlier to avoid any kit that might be left behind. For me, early preparation is important to avoid any shortcomings in the future. Then, I help my colleague to test the kit whether it can be used or not. After that, I separate the clean lab coat that we will bring for the tour. There will be 10

colleagues that will participate in the tour. Then, I continued my work by fill in the borax solution (cloth soap) into the bottle and it is one of the main ingredients to make the fluffy slime.

REFLECTION ON EXPERIENCE / TASKS For this week, we will conduct the Terengganu Tour at the selected school which are SM Imtiaz Dungun, Sekolah Menengah Agama Atas Sultan Zainal Abidin, SM Imtiaz Yayasan Terengganu Besut, SK Felda Selasih, and SK Pulau Perhentian. We depart to Terengganu on 14 July and the program start on 15 July. The first school is at SM Imtiaz Dungun. When we arrived at the school, we started to set-up the booth for lecture demonstration and hands-on activity. The program was started with the introduction of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia to the students. This is one of the initiatives to promote the faculty to the students. Besides, we also promote the courses that are offered at the university. This is one of the good efforts that we can do to give information about the pathway after SPM. Next, the lecture-demonstration started with the liquid nitrogen experiment where one of our colleagues demonstrated how the liquid nitrogen can change from the gas to a liquid state. From this experiment, the student can understand very well because they have seen how liquid nitrogen react. The experiment is one of the ways

that we can do so that they can learn about science in a fun way. Next, we continued with the elephant toothpaste and helium experiment. After that, we continue with hands-on activity such as DIY perfume and shrink art keychain. I was assigned to help the students to make the DIY perfume. The students make their perfume by using the fragrance oil and alcohol and they can take it for free. Also, they can make their keychain using the shrink paper. After that, I distributed the feedback form to the students. Overall, the feedback is the positive one and most of the students are happy with the program. 16 July, 2019

The second school is at Sekolah Menengah Agama Atas Sultan Zainal Abidin that is located at Kuala Terengganu. Most of the activities are same throughout this week. When we arrived at the school, we started to set-up the booth for lecture demonstration and hands-on activity. The program was started with the introduction of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia to the students. This is one of the initiatives to promote the faculty to the students. Besides, we also promote the courses that are offered at the university. This is one of the good efforts that we can do to give information about the pathway after SPM. The program was started with the introduction of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia to the students. This is one of the initiatives to promote the faculty to the students. Besides, we also promote the courses that are offered at the university. This is
