1.0 Course Rationale Contemporary issues in project management are critical current issues that are associated with project management. Knowledge of these issues is important for all stakeholders and may improve the management of projects. 2.0 Course objectives By the end of this course, the learner should be able to;      

Explain the influence of multilateral donors and development partners in projects Grasp the new approaches to project management Analyze conflicts in projects Explain change management and global warming concepts Understand the EIA process in Kenya State and explain the cultural, contextual, personal, organizational and governmental factors etc affecting projects.
