Dibash Chuke MEBU 3370 Madlife Studio Tour

On November 7, we drove to Madlife Studio as part of our MEBUS program. I had never been to a studio before, so I was excited. When we reached, the location is was bigger than I expected. Then, when we entered, I was I total awe. As we were guided to the stage area, the size of the place and the lighting arrangement fascinated me. I thought to myself how the blue and purple lighting would give out the best vibe for a band to perform. In addition, I remember the round board behind the stage with the Madlife Logo and text in Pink neon, which I though was very artistic and eye grabbing. Not to forget the speakers and equipment; there were a lot of feedback speakers, large amplifiers, front of the house auxiliary speakers, the drums was surrounded by mics and the stage was full of wires and smaller equipment that I did not even know the names of. The next part of the tour that really fascinated me was the mixing and mastering lab. There were many large TV sized screens for the audio engineer to mix or master the music that I think would make things convenient for the audio engineer considering that so far I have been learning mixing and mastering on my small laptop screen. The mixing board was very large. I really liked the video monitor where someone could control all camera angles recording the artist. Then there was the studio room with high ceiling and acoustic treatment panels on all the walls. The Arabian design carpet in that room also gave out a unique vibe. In overall, I really liked the venue and the whole architecture of the place: A large stage at the center, the high top tables seating for the crowd on the ground level, the bar on side, a studio on the other side and more seating on the upper level. I liked the concept of the venue where it was a studio, a stage, a cozy restaurant and a bar all in the same venue. Lastly, I could really envision myself working at such a venue and if not, I have made it my lifelong dream to open such a venue myself someday later on in life....
