However, for a newbie, it may be simplest to go directly to the web tutorials and watch them first. Then try out some of the functions demonstrated in the tutorials yourself, using Matlab installed on a computer in one of the labs in Engineering, or using Matlab that you download to your computer via the Memorial University campus-wide license through your my.mun portal.
