Description

Alexandria Cole, Doha Shehata, Mohammed-Ruhan Momin Barajas Health Science, B4 10 December 2021 Microblading (MM) Microblading is a semi-permanent tattooing technique used for eyebrows. Microblading can be used on people with little or no eyebrows to create the illusion of fuller, defined brows. Instead of using a traditional tattoo gun, microblading requires the use of a small tool with microneedles. These needles are used to manually draw delicate hair lines while depositing pigments under your skin. The result of that realistic eyebrows without drifting. However, it can be difficult to apply heavy powders and gels. The fact is that the growth of eyebrows in the mirror is a fundamental complication. For women with sparse or missing eyebrows, the brushstroke is no longer hairy.Microblading is not really a tattoo because it does not last forever. (DS) Microblading is a form of semi-permanent tattoo because the hair-like features do not penetrate the skin. The pigment used in microblading is also different from what you get with a tattoo because your body metabolizes it and it wears off. In addition, the dye particles are less concentrated in the micro ink, making your brows look softer and more realistic.Microblading is a treatment that involves implanting a pigment into the outermost layers of the skin to resemble an eyebrow. This treatment is ideal for people who suffer from hair loss and want to regain the look of their very natural brows. The treatment can take up to 2 hours. Eyebrow mapping is done prior to the procedure, where the artist will measure and outline the desired brow shape. Then, a numbing cream is applied to the area. The artist will then start making small hair-like strokes to eventually create a natural looking brow. Although numbing cream is used, it can be a little uncomfortable but tolerable. After micro-touch is complete, your newly created brows can't get wet for 10 days. This makes showering, shampooing, and exercising difficult.(AC) You can expect your new brow color to be bolder and darker within the first few days. Then it May begin to peel and scab after 5 days. It is very important not to pick up these debris or crusts. Picking can remove the pigment that leads to discolouration in these spots. Healing can take up to a month as the skin takes about 30 days to regenerate. Therefore, the 30day mark is when the colors will actually show. Since microblading breaks the skin there is a serious risk of transmitting infectious diseases, including HIV,hepatitis ,herpes and bacterial skin infections,Sometimes the ink is contaminated with bacteria or mold. There is no guarantee that it is safe, even if the packaging is sealed. Your doctor may give you antibiotics, antivirals, or antifungals if you have an infection.Non-sterile instruments and other equipment are one of the main risks of infection transmission. It is essential that all equipment be disinfected even before the start of the procedure to avoid any infectious complications.

Planning (MM) For our project, we are planning to construct a styrofoam box and visualize it as a womens eyebrow. I will include the following. I will most likely glue the pieces over the foam and indicate the items listed below with a toothpick and proper labeling. Epidermis - Peach colored clay Dermis - Rather reddish orange colored clay Hypodermis - Brownish colored clay Blood vessels - Pipe cleaner red/blue Sensory receptors - yellow/orange clay Other structures of the skin - black or other appropriate color beads or clay -

Sweat gland Apocrine Etc.

Video planning (Ally, description)- Microblading is a semi-permanent tattooing technique used for eyebrows. Microblading can be used on people with little or no eyebrows to create the illusion of fuller, defined brows. Instead of using a traditional tattoo gun, microblading requires the use of a small tool with microneedles. These needles are used to manually draw delicate hair lines while depositing pigments under your skin. (Ally, intended results) The result of that realistic eyebrows without drifting. (Doha, 3 examples)- when the needles pierce your skin, it triggers the nerves in your body, sending a signal to your brain, which allows you to know that it hurts. It also can hit blood vessels, which disrupts the circulatory system. It can also affect the immune system. If the needle is dirty, it can spread viruses like HIV or herpes, making the immune system weak. (Average cost) In total, Microblading can range from 400 to 800 dollars, requiring multiple visits for the procedure. (Ally, maintenance)- After all of the microblading procedures have been completed, there are many steps that need to be taken to maintain your new eyebrows. You need to avoid getting them wet for up to 10 days, don't wear makeup for at least a week, don’t pick at, tug, or itch the eyebrow area, and keep your hair away from your brow line. (Ruhan, side effects)- although microblading can lift people’s confidence, it still comes with risks and side effects. The needle can be contaminated with viruses like HIV or herpes, which can then infect the person. There are also mistakes that can happen, like it doesn't look the way you want it to be, but you can’t get what you want without taking risks. (Reasons for treatment) But never mind the risks, there are many reasons why you SHOULD get microblading. For one, it's a great confidence booster. There are some poor people out there that went from having bald spots to

beautiful caterpillars. So don’t hesitate. GO GET A MICROBLADING PROCEDURE TODAY.
