Welcome to the unit MLL327 Property. Property is that area of law that deals with the acquisition, nature, content, tra and loss of property rights or interests. As your unit chair, I hope that you will find this unit both intellectually stimulati relevant to your studies in your current course and your future directions as a Deakin graduate. You may need to contact me as the unit chair at some stage during this trimester. Most communication will be via the discussion boards on the Unit site. ABOUT THIS UNIT

The unit aims to provide students with a sound grasp of the concept of property and proprietary interests in relation to real and personal property. The unit will also act as an introduction to MLL325 Land Law and to aspects of the law relat personal and intellectual property. The syllabus includes the concepts of property, possession, seizing and title;

fragmentation of proprietary interests; acquisition and enforcement of interests in property; personal property; transfe legal and equitable remedies in relation to property; security interests in personal property, introduction to intellectua property.

Assessment 1 (Individual) - Multiple Choice test - 20% Assessment 2 (Individual or Group of 2) - Research Paper (1500 words) - 20% Examination (2 hours) - 60%

There is no Hurdle requirement for this unit.

In the unusual event that one of y assignments is misplaced, you will need to submit the backup copy.
