Prior to 1700 the two English colonial societies- New England and Chesapeake were very religiously different and had very different inhabitants which caused their ways of live to vary, but had some similarities as well, for example, they both wanted to work as a community to build something great, and to some extent the want of wealth encouraged them to move to the New World.
