Luke Braganza 180694420 [email protected] Dr. Roberts, NO202 November 7th NO202 Homework Assignment #4 When looking at the novel The Guardians by Ana Castillo, we find out what happened to Gabo’s father Rafa around the beginning of page 206. We find out from Regina’s narrative that Rafa’s body has been found by the police in la coyota’s house in El Segundo Barrio. “The Coyotes had my brother making methamphetamine”. Towards the end of the novel, there is a kidnapping that takes place, Tiny Tears and Miguel’s ex-wife Crucita, are kidnapped and later found at la coyotes house. They are found by Gabo, Juan Bosco, Miguel and Jesse and find them all drugged up and naked in the house. “We found El Toro in that house in Tornillo. “He has so messed up on drugs---heroin, meth, snot, who knows what, how much”. (Castillo 204) This quote stated by Miguel on page 204 shows the state in which they found El Toro and how people are treated at La Coyota house....
