NOTES They are not trying to sell anything but they are showing the idea of thinking on both sides because when people are hit by cars the driver need to know about how the victim will be feeling like. Like stepping into someone else’s shoes and how they might feel to lose a child like in the poster They are trying to sell the idea by using a poster that would make the viewers think of thinking on both sides as the poster shows the common mistakes people make while driving a car

The purpose of the ad is to put the person in the other person shoes

What is it trying to sell?

They are trying to sell awareness of what could happen on how the other person would feel

What is it intending to get audiences to think about the product?

The ad is intending the audience to think on both sides as many people do this mistake of using their phone or reading a map without looking at the road

The main contention is to think on both sides and what consequences could happen from their mistake

The target audience for this ad is people who use cars or have children.

It creates an intended effect for the parents as it could be their child having the same fate as the one in the ad so they want to intendent the message of think on both sides. The thing that stand out to me is the baby’s head on the boys head as it could have been their child that could have been hit by a car They have used emotive language Imagery

The child could have been theirs and they also need to know what the other family would think. This poster or ad would astonish and terrify the reader so they can think what would happen if something similar could happen. The emotive language of “think on both sides” this would make the reader reflect what their mistakes could have a major consequences. The effect that would have on the read is to show what the effect the other person could have if have done this type of silly mistake of not paying attention to the road. They also effect the reader by putting them in someone’s else’s shoes and also showing if it is your own child how would you feel if you could have lost your own child. The maker of the ad is trying to make the person who is viewing the ad feel the guilt of the silly mistakes they have made could have a devastating effect on someone’s life or child just like their own child.
