There are three discussion forums, Shadow Health Advanced Pharmacology Orientation and Conversation Concept Lab introduction, four Shadow Health Focused Exams, five Conversation Concept Labs, four Module Exams. Students have several days to complete the exam INDEPENDENTLY (Day 4 – Day 7) (therefore do not memorize) the material as you go along. The exam is “open book”/web site/reference. It is on the honor system, you will not seek help from anyone else, copy, share quiz/exam questions. Instead of spending time memorizing you will use the time to “search” out responses to threads. This is done to enable you to learn while taking the exam. Anyone found to violate the academic integrity policy will receive a zero. *5 points will be deducted for each day an assessment is overdue. Assessments will not be accepted three days beyond the due date unless a prior arrangement has been made between the student and the faculty. Please contact the faculty before the due date if there are extenuating circumstances. Faculty Feedback: The faculty will provide grades and/or feedback in Blackboard within 5 days of submission of assessments. Discussion Board Groups: Discussion Boards are utilized to encourage student-to-student interactions. To facilitate the discussions, the class will be divided into three groups. Students are responsible for knowing all the material presented in the discussion forum, no matter which group you are in. Students must individually answer the initial discussion/thread within your group and respond to a minimum of two peers in each of the other groups. Example, if I am in Group 1, my initial individual post will be responding to Group 1 discussion forum threads and for a minimum of my two responses, I will respond to at least one peer in Group 2 and at least one peer in Group 3. Students are required to submit an initial post by Wednesday at 11:59 pm and a minimum of two responses by Sunday at 11:59 pm. The discussion board should be viewed as a public and professional forum for course- related discussions. The tone of postings should be professional in nature. It is not appropriate to post statements of a personal or political nature, or statements criticizing classmates or faculty. Please see the discussion board rubric. **All Discussions follow the Rubric below**
