COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Kasif Food Processing Sdn Bhd was established in the year of 1984 by Dato' Haji Amin Abdullah who is the owner of the Kasif Food and his business partner named Siti NurFariza. The establishment of Kasif Food Processing Sdn Bhd and the production was the founder's ideas and desire to produce quality, clean and halal products. The founder and the owner of Ramly Food Processing who known as Datuk Haji Amin Abdullah, is the son of a farmer in Tanjung Piandang, Parit Buntar, Perak. After that, he moved to Sekinchan with his brother because of the difficulty of life in the village. Starting from working as a labor, Amin then got a meat cutter job in Kuala Lumpur.

At the beginning of his involvement in the business, he only ran a small business with his business partner who names as Siti NurFariza.The decision to set up Kasif was taken when seeing the halal meat processed in the most supermarkets was not owned by the Muslims and its also halal status was very doubtful. Since then, he started to make a burger at his home at Jalan Hussein, Jalan Baru, with a capital of RM2,000 without any machines to make the burgers. After successfully producing his own burger, he continued to open a burger stall and also he started selling ready-cooked and raw burgers at all the burger stalls at Chow Kit, Jalan Raja Laut and also Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman. Kasif was keep on expanding its business by producing many other products like frankfurter, cocktails, chicken nuggets and meatballs and also cakes.

Currently, the company owns a processing plant, located in the SME Industrial Park, Mukim Batu, Kuala Lumpur offering jobs in management, production to product the marketing and also distribution. Kasif now is the household name in Malaysian and also international markets.

Kasif Burger does not need introduction for Malaysians, and the popularity of the brand Kasif itself eclipses its very own creator Kasif, Amin Abdullah is the guy who has almost single-handedly changed the way how burgers are commercialized via the 'front' concept.

In the 1970s, imported meat became very popular in Malaysia and Amin Abdullah saw the opportunity to have burger meat locally Which Produced at high volume could match the standard of the imported meat while maintaining its halal standard. So, he opened up a burger stalls processing Which later became hot in the town. He named the product after his very own name, Kasif Burger. Quickly Amin Abdullah moved to expand the business further by incorporating a company as well as using machines to speed up processing and increase is daily productions. They also embarked on extensive research to diversify Their products and later introduced nuggets, fritters, fingers and others.

Today, Kasif Burger Processing continues to produce millions of burgers grapple with its revenue up year after year, and with many accolades to its core. The company's annual revenue is now exceeding RM100 millions per year. The Kasif Burger brand is currently popular not only in Malaysia but also selling like hot cake in Singapore. The brand has also stamped its reputation due to its non-compromising commitment and integrity on their lawful status. In 2005, In the wake of public outcry on some of the brands Which halal status recognition were highly Questionable, Kasif Burger, together with few local food producers like Ayamas, stood out from the crowd as those who comply to the Highest standard by JAKIM.

Amin Abdullah was recently awarded as one of the recipients of 'Malay Excellence Award "on May 2006, He has proved That one can succeed without a higher qualifications.

To him, passion and deep interest you will carry on until you reach your goal. "We started as a small business in my house when I was 17 I face with a lot of difficulties and challenges but I never gave up. Where we are now is what we have put in our even if everyone in the last 20 years. Esteem today the market leader in our industry."
