SECTION I – Personality and Self-Concept Discuss your personality strengths and areas of improvement to consider. Use your Milestone Two: SWOT Analysis assignment from Module Four to assist you with this section. Make sure you are considering the feedback you received from your instructor and any additional feedback from your peers and be sure to clean up any written errors in the submission. Being open-minded and being quick on my feet are two of my biggest strengths as a leader. Being open minded in most situations allows me to weigh all options in decision making and situations, allowing me to make the best decision. Not only does being open-minded influence, my decision making, but also it plays a role in meeting new people, and not being judgmental towards them due to the way they choose to live their life, or past mistakes they made. All in all, being open minded allows me to look further than at someone’s past, decisions, race, sexuality, etc. This gives me the ability to put together a verse team from all walks of life. As far as weaknesses as a leader, my lack of time management and my wanting to always give others the benefit of a doubt, even when they do not deserve it. When it comes to time management, I have none, which causes issues not only in a leadership position but everyday life in general. My timemanagement issues come from my procrastination. Which I have took steps towards working on.

SECTION II – Human Interaction Skills Discuss management skills involved in the engagement and motivation of personnel and consider the intended impacts on workplace productivity. Reflect back to assignments and resources you reviewed throughout the course to assist you with this section. Make sure you are considering the feedback you received from your instructor and any additional feedback from your peers and clean up any written errors in the submission. Skill 1: Effective Communication. communication is very important, specifically being able to communicate correctly in a leadership position. It allows for the personnel to feel like their feelings are not only relevant, but they are heard as well. Communication is not only important in a leadership role, but in everyday life as well. Communication is the basis for all interaction. Skill 2: Ability to Resolve Conflict. This skill is very important because when you hold a leadership position, the employees turn to you for answers when they fail to resolve conflict on their own. As the leader of the team, you are expected to have the answers when the employees you are leading do not.

SECTION III – Personal Development Plan For this final section, consider all of the coursework and feedback you received that allowed you to craft sections I and II above. Focus on your personality, selfconcept, and human interaction skills you have mentioned to help you form your personal leadership philosophy. This course has helped me in several ways, including giving me the knowledge needed to develop a leadership philosophy. I have also learned that it is important to be able to adapt to different situations and know which leadership styles are appropriate for a particular situation. As for my leadership philosophy, it consists of relatability, responsibility and communication. My personal experiences and past experiences will allow me to relate to the team members I am leading. Hold ing myself and others accountable for both negative and positive actions. Communication will be used openly and freely, to allow my team members to feel com fortable when it comes to expression their feelings, thoughts and concerns.
