One to one concept is a great communication technique that is very essential in construction project administration or any project in which many parties are engaged, like owner, consultant, engineers, architects, contractors, subcontractors or, stakeholders. It eliminates certain conflicts, reduce attention to claims-producing disputes, and results in greater efficiency for all parties to the contract. It makes it easier to negotiate with the parties to the deal. Under this concept one representative is appointed who acts as spokesperson for the wishes of owner referred to as Project Representative. This representative makes all the orders on construction site and communicates between different parties. . Example of one to one concept, if there is any changes in the projects that an owner needs, so he won’t personally contact the contractor instead he will communicate with the representative and ask him for the change, then the representative will advice the contractor to make modifications.
