Vision The PAMET is an association that envisions all its members to be highly motivated Medical Technologists who can be well-rounded individuals to readily face challenges and adapt to changes in order to become globally competitive; be recognized in their field and other endeavors through excellent performance and quality service; be service oriented and an instrument of unity, harmony and oneness in work and in spirit. Bill) in May 10, 1967 Nardito Moraleta “Professional Recognition” 2nd President (1967-1970) • Approval of RA 5527 also known as the Philippine Medical Technology Act of 1969 • Organization of PAMET provincial chapters like Cebu (1969), Baguio (1970) • Registration of PAMET in the International Organization of Medical Laboratory Technologists (IAMLT) on May 28, 1970 • Amendments of PAMET Constitution and By-Laws in 1969 • Registration of PAMET with SEC as a non-stock, non-profit organization • Publication of PAMET NEWS, the first official newsletter of the organization • Organization of the Council of Medical Technology in compliance with RA 5527 • Standardization of the Medical Technology curriculum in all Medical Technology Schools in the Philippines through the Council of Medical Technology • Appointment of the First Medical Technology Board of Examiners through RA 5527 • Medical Technology Board Examinations was administered through RA 5527 • Code of Ethics was adopted on August 6, 1968 Felix Asprer “Legislative Agenda” 3rd and 6th President (1970-1971; 1973-1977) • Approval of Presidential Decree 498 which amended some sections of RA 5527 • Accreditation of PAMET as a bonafide professional organization for Medical Technologists with the PRC on May 24, 1975 • Organization of more PAMET chapters like La Union, Pangasinan, Zambales and Zamboanga
