Kathryn (Katie) Lux Group Case Study Peer Evaluation Please answer the questions below to reflect the team collaboration of the group case study. My group is ___2Z___ For your 5/6-person group: 1. Evaluate each team member’s contribution by indicating their % contribution to the group case study. All contributions summed together MUST total 100%. Thus, if everyone contributed equally on a five person Team each would receive 20. Equal contributions on a six person team would be 16's and 17's. If contributions are not equal, reflect that here. Kathryn Lux-22% Sahar Ibrahim-22% Ben Hall-20% Jonathan Seifried-20% Alvin Chang-10% Wilfredo Couret-6% 2. What were the 2 biggest challenges to overall performance of the case study? I believe the two biggest challenges to overall performance were lack of attendance in class and lack of attendance at group meetings. This lead to an extremely uneven work load. 3. Which team member(s) are the biggest contributors in terms of workload/contribution of ideas and why? (You may name yourself.) The biggest contributors to our case study project were Sahar Ibrahim and me. We were consistently present at meetings and made sure everything got done. Second to us were Ben and Jonathan, which helped a lot with the calculations, but even so, they obviously cared less about the project, and did not contribute near as much time and effort as Sahar and me. I also was the individual from my group that presented, which took time and effort outside of the usual case study. Sahar and I also had issues actually getting our teammates to help write the report, so we wrote the majority of it. 4. Which team member(s) contribute the least and why? (If everyone contributes equally, state this and explain how this has been accomplished.) Alvin Chang and Wilfredo Couret did the bare minimum for the group. They had to be spoon-fed things to do. Unless we told them exactly what to do in order to help the group, they did not do anything. They rarely knew what was going on or the status of the case study, and it was extremely frustrating for the rest of the team to have to pick up their slack. 5. Other comments n/a

Kathryn (Katie) Lux For the city-group collaboration: 1. Evaluate the contribution from each of the X, Y, Z team in providing information and ideas to complete Part II of the case study and the city-group presentation. All contributions summed together MUST total 100%. X – 33.333% Y-33.333% Z-33.333% I felt as if all three groups did an equally good job at finishing the case study. We met up as a city group, and everyone contributed pretty equally. 2. Other comments

What you’ve learned the most from the group case study? Outside of academia, I learned how to manage a large group project, and work with people on an important problem. Within the details of the case study, I learned how to apply my skills of IE 343 to a real-life scale, which I feel as if is very beneficial to my learning. My presentation and public speaking skills also improved with this project, because out of my 5-6 person group, I was the most knowledgeable about the case study, so I was our representative. What suggestions do you have to make the case study better? Make directions and deadlines very explicit, I feel as if there was confusion within the case study deadlines and directions....
