Social isolation is a negative symptom of schizophrenia if social isolation patients are not treated they will experience a recurrence so that families are needed to help meet the needs and care for the patient because it has become a family task. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the implementation of family duties and the frequency of recurrences of social isolation patients at the Polyclinic in Medan. The design of this study is descriptive correlational using a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were 42 families caring for patients who experienced social isolation. Sampling technique using accidental sampling. Data collection using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability.
