Description

Philippine Arena – owned by INC. A company in Australia, Populous, designed the architecture of the Philippine Arena. London-based Buro Happold was in charge of the structural engineering, while South Korea-based Hanwha E&C managed the construction. Hanwha E&C announced that the construction work was officially finished in May 2014, with the construction lasting 30 months. It is the largest indoor arena, not just in the Philippines, but in the whole world. It is a 140-hectare zone and has a seating capacity of 55k people. Fact: b) The Mall of Asia is the considered as the largest Mall in Asia as of this date. However, the Philippine Arena is equivalent of Eight (8) Mall of Asia Arena

In an article published by the Philippine Daily Inquirer, a source from Iglesia ni Cristo claimed that the Philippine Arena was built “not to make a profit.” In fact, “it is not even commercialized nor aimed at making money.” The Philippine Arena is intended to become “a wholesome gathering place for people and an entertainment venue for the whole family, serving as a venue for religious, cultural and sporting events.” It was built not only for Iglesia Ni Cristo members but also for the benefit of the Filipino people. Philippine Arena will be available for use by interested Filipino and international organizations provided their activities will be in accordance with the Bible’s teachings, Asked if they’re open to the idea of letting other religious groups/organizations use the Philippine Arena, INC spokesperson Bro. Edwin Zabala said that their officials “will cross the bridge when we get there.” He added: “Basta ang rule namin ay dapat di nakaka-offend sa katotohanan at mga pangaral ng Diyos sa Bibliya ang anumang activity na dapat gawin doon.” With INC pouring significant investments into Ciudad de Victoria, James said, “It’s going to attract global attention.” “They’re going to attract big name events. It’s going to bring attention to the Philippines,” he noted.

NAIA Expressway The NAIA Expressway (NAIAEx, NAIAx and Ninoy Aquino International Airport Expressway) [1] is an 11.6-kilometer (7.2 mi) elevated expressway system in Metro Manila, Philippines, which links the Metro Manila Skyway to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and Entertainment City. The 7.7-kilometer project, among the successful public private partnership contracts bid out during the Aquino administration, was bagged by SMC in 2013 through its Vertex Tollways Development, Inc.

Delays, mostly on account of right-of-way delivery, meant the expressway opened only in September 2016 or already under the term of President Duterte. It was immediately cited for its impact in cutting road congestion around Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport complex. NAIAEx was serving some 80,000 motorists per day while providing access to all Naia terminals from the Skyway, Cavite Expressway &other major roads with its 14 on and off ramps....
