QUALIFICATIONS

   

• Manage portfolios of one or more business lines' complicated business projects.

• Develop and provide project team, sponsors, stakeholders, and top management officials with progress reports, proposals, and project documentation. • Assist in the resolving of disputes • Support and motivate the members of the project team and personnel for training programs • Monitor development and improvement of templates for project reports • Establish project success criteria A Bachelor degree that is related  At least a Bachelor degree in the related to the field of work field of work

Preferred to have or planning to achieve the PMP certification At least 3 year experience in the field of work At least 1 year experience in project management position

2. Which similarities/skills stay the same? Both the project manager and the senior project manager should have strong project management abilities, including:

3. Which differences/skills need to be advanced? The fundamental distinction between a project manager and a senior project manager is that a project manager is only responsible for the projects that have been assigned to him, but a senior project manager is responsible for all projects in one or more lines of business. Their abilities differ in the following ways:  Senior PMs are responsible for several projects across the organization at the same time, whereas PMs are responsible for only the projects that have been allocated to them. As a result, higher management and multi-project management skills, as well as experience in the industry, are required. In addition, to be able to manage several projects, senior PMs need have strong evaluating, prioritizing, and planning skills.  The senior PM is responsible for creating project document templates and project progress reporting papers, whereas the PM is only responsible for updating the documents as the project progresses. This necessitates improved and extensive documentation abilities and experience.  Unlike the PM, who just has to deploy resources across the allocated project, the senior PM should be able to train, supervise, and oversee project workers and allocate them appropriately across the organization. Senior PMs should also update and revise PMO policies, which requires extensive knowledge of project techniques and technologies....
