iron triangle: consists of a small and informal but relatively stable set of bureaucrats, legislators, and lobbyists who seek to develop policies beneficial to a particular interest.



issue network: an informal grouping of officials lobbyist and policy specialists ( the network) who come together temp. around a policy problem ( the "issue")

Political Action Committees (PACS): where a group's contribution is funnel through they can't give organization funds such as corporate profits or union dues, directly to the candidate. It has a limit of how much it can give. 10,000 per candidates and 5,000 in the primary and general election. •
