Now given, concentration of H+ is 6.21 × 10-4 pH = - log10 [H+] = - log ( 6.21 × 10-4 ) = 3.20 So, pH of 6.21 × 10-4 M HCl is 3.20 HNO3 or nitric acid is a strong acid and it dissociates completely into aqueous solutions. Given, [H+] = 10-3 pH = - log [H+] = - log ( 10-3 ) = 3 pH of 10-3 M HNO3 is 3. 3. Write the appropriate equilibrium (see Equation 5) for each pKa of glycine and of your unknown.
