3. What is the reason behind different sterilization techniques (heat sterilization, chemical sterilization etc.)? -

Sterilization has different techniques as not all the bacteria can be killed by using only one sterilization method. Some or microorganism needed to undergo multiple processes in order for it to be killed, as all sterilization techniques differ from one another and have their own specific uses.
