PROCESS TO DEFER EXAM
Students are reminded that there will be no automatic deferral to the next examination sitting. If you are unable to complete your online assessment or miss uploading time for whatever reasons, you may apply for an Aegrotat examination. The process to apply for Aegrotat examination is as follows: 1.
On MyUnisa go to MyAdmin;
2.
On Assessment Admin select Examination Timetable;
3.
View of Timetable go to “Apply for AegrotatExamination” and enter details required.
# In terms of rule 17 contained in the MyRegistration@UNISA information brochure online applications for aegrotat or special examinations will only be considered UNTIL 10 (ten) days AFTER the relevant examination date(s).
Your application must be accompanied by all supporting documentation. Students are expected to attach supporting documentation; an affidavit may suffice. Students applying for an aegrotat exam must include supporting documentation (i.e. a doctor’s note if ill, a load-shedding schedule if the electricity supply was interrupted, screenshots of technical glitches etc.) or an affidavit (i.e. if a loadshedding schedule is not available)....
