1. Introduction Minimize food scarcity due to increased demand of food consumption was one of the developmental goals of Purok 8A, Gabi, Compostela, Compostela Valley. In connection to the domestic-demand augmented the growing economic importance of crops especially fruits, vegetables & flowers. The domain of domestic-demand is influenced by the boom in income; Population-growth, Changing Consumption-Pattern & growing awareness for better- nutrition. Availability of fruits as seasonal-produce has been transformed as year-roundproduce, with visible impact of increased per-capita consumption of fruits & vegetables. Exclusively Purok 8A Household chores would come to an availability on planting to their farm vicinity as well and on development of the existing infrastructure of fruit nursery it keep to extend planting of fruits to Barangay roadside as an extent beneficiary of fruit seedlings production as to aspire the augmentation profitably & objectively.

2. Aim and Objective

The proposal for Putting-up of Flower-bearing, Fruit-bearing, and Crop Nursery in Purok 8A by Purok Coordinators and Purok Officials is with following objectives. i.

To develop the Farm as a center of model Horticultural activities in the Barangay.

ii.

To disseminate advanced technologies up to the door step of farmers of the Barangay.

iii.

To create new avenues for production of different fruit plants, hybrid vegetables and flower seedlings as per requirement of the public.

iv.

To enhance the capacity building and skill development of the farmers and entrepreneurs.

v.

Adhere elimination of pollutants through increasing number trees and other crops.

3. Feasibility of the Project & Basic Information The project is feasible as activities is taken up in the vicinity of Purok 8A, Gabi. The nursery is under the administrative-control of Purok 8A Coordinators and Purok Officials, since 2017 stretching over an area of Purok 8A Site with 50 square meters present position over about 250 square meters. The category of land was found to be. The category has been moved for conversion and alienation of the entire land of 200square meters. The nursery has ample scope for increasing the produce capacity with additional planted area & enhancement of other activities. Existing-status of the Beneficiaries: i)

4. Competency and Sustainability The nursery is under the control of Purok 8A Coordinators and Purok 8A Officials Gardener-Household’s members 5. Sector & Sub-Sectors: Local Government Unit, BLGU, Private Stakeholders and others.

6. Anticipated Benefit The nursery production will increase in double under fruit crops and 5 lakhs of hybrid vegetable seedlings will be produced annually which will generate revenue. It will also act as a training center to provide technical knowledge to the farmers and entrepreneurs to grow vegetables and fruit crops in scientific manner. Around 100 Papaya & 100 Drumstick seedling will be raised annually. The revenue receipt would be increased 5% per Annum.

6. Possible Outcome of the Project  The quality planting materials production will increase. The Nursery of nearby areas can able to get good quality vegetable seedlings as well as fruit planting materials.
