INTRODUCTION The increase in migration in the contemporary age of globalisation means that “nearly all States have become or are becoming more multiethnic, multi-cultural, multi-racial, multi-religious, and multi-lingual” (Dupper, 2007). Malaysia is a developing country and facing the absence of willing local workers. This is the reason for Malaysia to look outside for migrant low-skilled workers from poorer countries to fill up the demand. Round 1980s there was industrial revolution started in Malaysia. In plantation and construction sectors, Malaysia closed the door for local manpower and start recruiting from nearer countries. In the beginning of 1990s it is a remarkable time when Malaysia imports a big number of workforces from other countries where they needed to supply their manpower.
