a) What parts of our bodies do we rely upon when gathering empirical evidence? Empirical evidences are really the information that we gather through our sense organs. We rely on our sensitive body part when gathering empirical evidence. This includes but not limited to our eyes, ears, nose etc. With our eyesight we see everything all around and without the sense of eyesight we would miss all this information that we gather from all around. In order to hear someone, we utilize ears. We smell’s through the nose. Our organs send messages to the brain to sense all these things. Then the brain processes this information to better understand the world around us. An example, with the eyesight I am preparing my course material and submitting at the right places as necessary. So, the sense of eyesight plays important rule. So, the examination on human behavior our bodies rely upon our senses utilizing our body parts when gathering empirical evidence. b) Would you consider your day to day experiences and observations as part of empirical evidence? Why? Empirical data rests based on knowledges and observation and day to day experience. Empirical evidence is verifiable similar to the DVR recording. Our daily activities are good example of empirical activities. Suppose we can walk with certain speed which is measured by our feeling. Our senses act as the best measurement tools. Our cognitive abilities help to measure them. So, in light of the above circumstances, I would consider my day to day living experience and observations as part of empirical evidence.
