Part II: Briefly describe what your objectives are for the meeting that you have organized, including a justification of the attendees you have chosen, any intended outcome(s) that you would like to achieve and/or other goals that you would like to result from the meeting: The purpose of this meeting was to build a foundation of support on this topic for these department managers and the departments they oversee. To achieve this I wanted all three departments to understand the seriousness of the matter and what effect poor handling of this issue has on the whole organization. I chose Sheila Moore and Les Jones to broaden the impact of issue on the company as a whole. They would bring a face to those effected beyond the three initially effected departments. The union rep, Claude Bennet was included to gain a full perspective from the current climate of the packaging department.
