1.0 INTRODUCTION Online Distance Learning (ODL) is a required method that has been used by students instead of physical class in this pandemic. This method is a process where students learn from home through online classes without having physical contacts with friends and lecturers. Online classes can be conducted through video recordings, other mediums such as Google Meet, Zoom, Classroom,Microsoft Teams and more. These platforms give an easy way to both student and lecturer to attend classes.
1.1 BACKGROUND OF STUDY The study was done through an online platform, which is google form to collect the data. The participants of this study are students of Faculty Business and Management in UiTM Merbok, Kedah. All of the students who participate in this study are doing the same learning method right now, which is ODL.
The online class is introduced as a required method for students to attend their classes since the pandemic occurs. As precaution, we need to avoid physical contact and crowded places. So, online learning is one of the solutions. ODL has many media platforms such as Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Classroom and more.
The students’ feedback and opinions about this study are important as we need to know how online classes affect their lives. Having online classes is quite challenging for some students as the environment is different than usual physical classes.
1.2 OBJECTIVES The main objective of this study is to investigate the impact of Online Distance Learning (ODL) to students of UITM Kedah. We want the feedback of their opinion about online classes and platforms that they prefer to use for the class. The average time per day that they spend on online classes is important. The problems that they face during classes and the condition of the internet will contribute to our research. After that, we will identify the methods that students prefer to study and their overall view about online distance learning.

4.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
4.1 CONCLUSIONS
Our group conducted a survey and research on “Impact of Online Distance Learning (ODL)” among students from the Faculty of Business Management, UiTM Kedah. For our survey and research, we received 50 responses. Females exceeded male respondents by a 6:1 ratio, hence they made up the majority of the respondents. As result, the majority of survey respondents are between the ages of 20 and 21.
The majority of respondents chose face to face class over ODL because face to face is more convenient to students. Also, face to face classes will make students more sove their money because they don’t have to spend money to pay internet bills. And most of them said that ODL makes them unwise to manage time and they don’t have self-motivation.
Students spend above 10 hours every day on the internet for ODL because they have to attend the classes during the day and they have to finish the assessment at night. This often makes them not realise that they are spending so much time in ODL. Majority enjoy with ODL but they want to change a few things that make them feel inconvenience.
4.2 RECOMMENDATIONS
The ways to solve the impact of Online Distance Learning (ODL) the respondents can take initiative to apply for the internet assistance registration that is given by the government and they can apply for Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat. It is to solve the problem of some respondents that fund a lot of money for internet bills due to the ODL. Next, the respondents can make a time table during their learning session that will make them become more wise in managing their time. Lastly, to solve the problem that the respondents prefer to face to face class is by following the Standard Operating Procedure(SOP) that is given by the government and make sure people around you follow the SOP due to the cases of Covid-19 that have increased day by day. It is to reduce the number of people being exposed to this disease. So that the country will be free from Covid-19 and the government of education will announce that students can go back to university and this will solve the problem for students that prefer face to face learning than Online D...
