From examining the photo and reading the paragraph provided, I believe that Queenie

did kill her husband and there is enough evidence to prove so. !

"

My first piece of evidence is the the fact that Arthur still has the glass in his hand. If he

really fell down the stairs like Queenie claimed, he would’ve dropped the glass. He would not still be holding it if he was dead on the floor after just fallen. This gives me strong reason to believe Queenie is lying about her husband falling down the stairs, and staged it to look like he was drunk and coming down for another drink. !

"

Another article of evidence is that the stove is on and something is cooking. Why would

Arthur be upstairs if he had something cooking on the stove. It couldn’t have been Queenie that was cooking something on the stove, because she had just gotten home from being out at the party. So this leads me to believe that Arthur was cooking something when Queenie arrived home, and not upstairs like she had said. She must’ve killed him and then staged him beneath the stairs to look like he had fallen. There is no other explanation to why there would be food on the stove while it is on, besides that Arthur forgot he was cooking something and went upstairs, which is highly unlikely.! "

There are also some questionable statements in the paragraph that could be evidence

to Queenie killing her husband. The fact that she arrived 10 minutes before her friends is suspicious, and gives her enough time to kill her husband. Also, Queenie went to her friends right after she supposedly found her husband dead, and asked them “what should I do?” I consider the fact that she didn’t call an ambulance immediately, and went to her friends when they arrived strong evidence that Queenie did kill her husband. She staged him below the stairs to make it look like he had fallen and lied, saying he was coming down to get another drink.!
