Academic Mission Statement: The purpose of pursuing higher education for myself is because now that I have kids and a family, I want to be the best role model I can be for them. Showing my family to push yourself to the next level is important to me because if you do not push yourself to the next level, you are giving up on yourself. My projected graduation date will be in the middle of 2024. After I graduate, I would love to get my security clearance license and work for the federal government as a fraud investigator. Learning how to work with a team, learning how to stay focused and taking accountability for your actions are the 3 main things I would like to work on to become a better person and to enhance my profession to get to the highest level possible.

Short-Term Goal #1 My first and most important goal is to stay focused and help others. By taking time out of each day to login and do my school work will help me stay focused. Staying focused, asking questions and answering questions shows respect to my professor and my classmates. Having respect for people is the best asset someone can have. For me, this is a daily goal as I want to show respect and stay focused every single day. By doing this each day, after 4-6 months, I will feel as I have completed my goal

Short-Term Goal #2 My second short term goal is to pass both of my classes this term with at least a 3.8 GPA. I was always taught that if you do not have A’s and B’s in school, you are not passing because I am smart than that. By having those high grades, I am showing myself that I am trying the best I can. I will know if I have successful for my 2nd short term goal in 4-5 weeks when all of our grades are put into the system.

Short-Term Goal #3

My third and final short-term goal is stay ahead and never get behind. If I stay ahead and I need a few days off, I know I will be able to afford that rather than be a few days behind. By staying ahead of schedule, I will be able to spend even more time with my family. I will know if I am successful by doing twice as much work as required per day....
