Myra I. Phineas Gage’s Life challenges him. “Challenges are what life makes interesting. Overcoming them is what makes them meaningful.” I think Phineas Gage’s life was much more difficult than Adam Moore in many ways.
The accident not only affected his personality but also his lifestyle. The tamping iron destroyed much of the frontal lobe of his brain. His tempered personality also changed. "He was the first case where you could say fairly definitely that injury to the brain produced some kind of change in personality," Macmillan says. Phineas after the accident worked in Chile as a stagecoach driver. After almost seven years of working and wandering around the work, Phineas came back to his parents in Calfornia, in poor health. In his parent’s house, Phineas sufferers from seizures and dies. Adam Moore had some difficult life as well. After the accident, Adam Moore’s brain couldn’t predict time. The brain that controls time was missing from his brain that caused him so many problems in his relationships. They think that Adam doesn’t care about them. He also says that he have some anger issues that he controls. There are so many reasons that I think Phineas gage’s life was harder than Adam. It was the firstever case they have seen. There wasn’t some information about the brain at that time. The brain was still a mystery to them. Just because of the lack of information and medical supply Phineas died, where Adam Moore is still living.
“Difficulties strengthen the mind, as labor does the body.” Which was what both of them proved by living the hope in their way. That is why I think that Phinease’s life was much harder than Adam Moore....
