Reason has a lot of enemies. When these enemies dominate reason, reason itself is powerless; dies a natural death. On the other hand, if reason is strong enough; these enemies are controlled. To name a few but not limited to these; the so called 7 deadly sins-lust, greed, gluttony, anger, etc., emotions, sensualities and many others…. Show how reason is defeated by lust, anger and gluttony and how are they defeated as well by reason?

The seven deadly sins which are lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride are also known as the seven deadly enemies of man are normal emotions that every people experiencing in daily lives. Emotions play an important role in how we think and behave. Emotions is very strong and powerful and a great captains of our lives that sometimes we obey them without realizing it. The reason why reason was defeated by the seven deadly enemies of man is because we are letting this sins cover up our emotions. We felt prideful and powerful that it makes us feel good. Mostly of the reason why reason was defeated is because of pride. Among the seven deadly sins, pride is most powerful, it is the deadliest of all, the root of all evil and the beginning of sins. But not all the time, seven deadly sins defeated the reason because if it happened then it wreaked chaos and destruction across the world. We are human, we know what is right from wrong and we know what is bad from good. Even though seven deadly sins is so powerful that sometimes it will covered our good sides but we all know that deep inside there is a little light that we can hold on for us not to give in into these sins....
