De ar Sar a h M ac Donald : Before going into UNV-109HN, I didn’t know what to expect. I feel like I wasn’t entirely sure what the class was going to consist of, so I didn’t feel super prepared for it. I assumed it was going to be similar to an English class after seeing the request to have “Brave New World,” but I still wasn’t super sure. But now, I know exactly what’s expected. Knowing it’s similar to an English class (in my opinion), I wasn’t super happy because I didn’t do well my senior year in my AP English class, but this class wasn’t bad! It definitely required some deeper thought, but overall, it was similar to what I’ve experienced before. Based on my actual ability in this class, I think I could have gotten a B or a low A. Currently I have a C, but this year has just been difficult to get through. It’s been a lot of change because of the pandemic and moving away from home, some weeks were harder than others, but I got through it and that’s all that matters. So I would give myself an 80%. I wasn’t able to find the “course competencies” after looking around loudcloud for a while. I posted a question on the forum page but hadn’t gotten an answer by the time I submitted this assignment. I think you were very helpful. You were great about answering questions and even though we never had face-to-face contact, I felt like you were really there for us. It was extremely reassuring to have an online teacher actually answer questions and get back to you. I’ve had bad experiences before with online only classes, but you made me glad I took this one! I feel like this class prepared me for future classes similar to this pretty well and I wouldn’t really be concerned if I ended up in another class like this one. Sincerely,
