The culminating activity is very extraordinary experience for us. It is because we experience a lot of new things like planning and brainstorming in writing. Last May 15, 2021, the MNHS grade 12 students with their culminating activity teachers conducted a culminating activity that shows the works of the students with regards to academic aspects. The ten-days culminating activity is a way for other people to know and see how creative the grade 12 students are. The activity was a success for all of the students and teachers. A s a g rad e 12 s t uden t, it is ve ry fulf ill ing to bec om e a par t o f t he culminating activity that lets us to know more about the talent that is hidden inside us. The experience in writing a concept paper as my culminating activity gave me a chance to find out about the skills I should be learning in college and there are ways that I can keep track of how I am doing. I was not taught how to think in terms of outcomes of skills so it was kind of challenging at first. When I was trying to figure out what types of knowledge, skills, or abilities I had learned from my writing experiences, it was very helpful to go to the Pathways Outcomes in my concept paper and think about how they applied to the experiences I was writing about for my culminating activity. There are many things that I have learned about my culminating activity experience. I have learned that my culminating activity not only shows everyone how I have progressed as a writer, but it also shows what I have learned about myself as a writer. The concept paper I wrote contains not only my best works, but also my mistakes, and through the work in here I am able to see the mistakes that I commonly make while writing such as over-generalizing things and writing about something before I completely understand it myself. However there are also things that I realized works well for me in creating my concept paper. Not only have I gained technical skills, but I’ve learned how to express myself as a serious student and a hard worker. The different sections of my concept paper made me realize the important things about how I see myself starting at MNHS Junior High, how I see myself now and in my future. My experience in culminating activity has made me see more of whom I want to be and how I can accomplish my goals. I believe that writing is just like learning and teaching, that’s why I chose to write a concept paper as my culminating activity since I dreamed to become an English teacher. Having seen this value of my culminating activity, I will continue to regularly and rigorously evaluate my own teaching and professional development. I will also regularly revisit my professional goals and evaluate my progress toward meeting them. I hope to continue this growth, and the concept paper of my own will be a helpful tool in demonstrating and evaluating my continued professional development. Now, with more knowledge of teaching, I decided to use my culminating activity as an opportunity to show and demonstrate all the skills that I have learned throughout my journey at Matucay National High School. Throughout the concept paper development and revision process, I have grown as an educator. I feel that the process has enhanced my understanding of the overall higher education experience. I have always felt confused and irritated by the lack of connection between my

general education requirements and my core department requirements. I think that my culminating activity is a great way to link the two types of classes that I take during my time at MNHS. I am a very visual person and the template of the culminating activity was easy to follow and it truly helped to achieve the goal of linking my personal work to my personal goal. I also believe that this process was very empowering for me. It is easy to get discouraged with work that you complete during classes because you complete a paper, receive a grade, and then that paper is simply stored in a folder on your computer. This process helped me to look back on the work that I had completed in prior classes and place more value on the work that I had created. I was able to value the work because each task that I complete per day I have taken one step closer to completing a personal or professional goal of my own. It was encouraging to see that I was not attending classes just to receive a piece of paper that declares I graduated from senior high school, I was attending Matucay National High School for my own personal and professional growth....
