Different articles and statements motivate the researchers to pursue this paper regarding how the wages affect the productivity level of employees. Wages is an essential in achieving productivity. Good administration of wages are very important in any establishment as it improves employees’ productivity and the overall organization aims and goals. On August 7, Duterte signed Republic Act 11360 amending Article 96 of the Labor Code of the Philippines giving restaurant and hotel workers only 85 percent of the service charge collected from

customers while the remaining 15 percent was retained by the management (Guadalquiver, 2019). Wennie Sancho, secretary-general of General Alliance of Workers Associations (GAWA), said that the incentive should motivate the workers to increase their productivity. “We hope this positive development will give more reasons to the workers to strive to increase their productivity and provide better and quality service to the customers,” Sancho added. Theoretical Basis To be able to enhance employees productivity, wage factor and quality of working life needs to get the attention of the management. This paper aims to know the impact of wages in the productivity level of contractual social associate employees. One of the purposes of an employee working in a company is to earn income in the form of wages. The earned wages is used to meet basic needs: clothing, housing, etc. According to Kanzunnudin (2007), every company in determining the amount of wages paid to the employee must be feasible, so that the lowest wage that is given to meet the needs of their life. The increase in employment opportunities can only happen if the workers receive wages lower nominal (Syadhan, 2007). Compensation is one of the most significant inspirational variables, as we had been told from the days of yore that we will eat from our perspiration. The primary motivation behind why laborers engage in paid occupations is to procure a living which is compensation or pay. Sensible pay rates must be paid on schedule, that is, it must be paid as at when due and expeditiously, too. The laborers ought to be capable decide the time such pay rates will be paid by the association. Once more, there must be a relative consistency in the mode and way such pay rates and wages will be paid to the laborers. While fixing pay rates, the association must consider factors, for example, the average cost for basic items, organization capacity to pay, ability of organization to pay, and so forth (Chukwudi, Odogwu & Adedehinbo, 2012).

Wages become a significant part of being viable whenever connected to the presentation fundamentally (Umar, 2012). Conceding compensation is the most mind boggling task for the business, is likewise the most noteworthy perspectives for laborers, in light of the measure of wages mirrors the size of the estimation of their work among the laborers themselves, their families and networks. Wages are significant for the business since it mirrors the business' endeavors to safeguard HR so as to have a high unwaveringness and duty to the business. Feasible wages system is relied upon to add to keeping up the reasonability of the work power, the acknowledgment of the vision and mission, just as for the accomplishment of work destinations (Umar, 2012).
