normal weight or underweight, according to study; most of the individual have deformation in their body size that can cause them to modify their diet or exercise. Person having an eating disorder experience depression, anxiety or substance use challenges. The common eating disorder are Anorexia nervosa, terrible reduced weight, profound anxiety of increase weight, upset perception of body shape and weight, (American Psychiatric Association, 2000) and Bulimia nervosa refer to those who repeatedly and often urge of eating unusually large amounts of foods accompany by throwing up, excessive work-out or fasting with compensatory behavior to prevent weight gain (American Psychiatric Association, 2000) Rudine Howard Rudine Howard, a 25 year old lady is a perfect case study of someone suffering from anorexia nervosa, she is living on what is called God’s will and could tell the number of calories in every food. Her weight drop from 265 pounds as at when she was 13 years old to 60 pounds, even at that tremendous weight loss she still feel she is fat. Rudine had constant expressing dislike for her body, intense fear of gaining weight, had restricted eating pattern, she could drink water for 2-3 weeks, an inexorable pursuit of thinness and crooked body shape despite being seriously underweight and doctors plea. From studies there are different factors that can influence our motivation to eat notably are Personality traits like perfectionism, mental disorder and impulsivity oftentimes linked to a higher peril of developing eating disorder, other likely causes are pressures to be thin, genetics, cultural preferences for thinness and exposure to mass media promoting ideas on dieting and brain biology. (Culbert, Racine and Klump, 2015).

Eating disorder are psychological, when an individual is energy insufficient, a complex interaction of physiological processes communicate that food should be eaten and some display over regulation of eating behavior resulting in underweight and malnutrition. Conclusion Eating is an important satisfying behavior and as such is linked to mood and emotions and in the Hesperian society placing importance on appearance has led to eating disorder. Eating disorder is characterized by obsessive belief about food and bodyweight.
