DRAFT-EMCEE SCRIPT

(voice over): Today, we’re conducting the first school program for school year 2020-2021, the Backto-School Program of_________. This is the time to make the students especially the transferees and the freshmen to be familiar with their school environment and school personnel. Without further ado, let me introduce to you, our master of ceremony for today’s event, Mr/Ms name!

MC: Good morning! It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you all to our Back-to-School Program 2021-2022.

MC: So to start with, may we all rise and be one in mind, body and spirit as we praise and thank our Almighty God for all his graces and blessings through a doxology. After which, we shall remain standing as we pay tribute to our heroes by singing the Philippine National Anthem to be followed by the ___hymn.

MC: There are no adjectives we can use to describe how awful, how painful, how unnatural this “distance learning” is. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has created an experience that is unlikely to be forgotten. This is unnatural. This is unwanted. But this is necessary, and you’re not alone. Remember, this is temporary. And if this pandemic viewed with a growth mindset—the belief that one’s skills and qualities can be cultivated through effort and perseverance—it can be lifechanging. Again, welcome back to school!

MC: Nothing can be more reassuring and heart-warming than affectionate words of welcome. To formally welcome us, let us lend our ears to our handsome and hardworking SSG President, name as he gives his opening remarks. (Opening remarks) MC: Thank you Mr. President name.

MC: And now, to warm our hearts with hopeful words of inspiration, may we listen to our outstanding principal, ________. (Principal’s message) MC: Thank you sir. Your words will surely remain closely to our hearts. At this juncture, may we call in our “person assigned to introduce the teachers” to introduce to us the teaching staff. (Presentation of teachers) MC: Thank you dear teachers.
