Good Morning, Soledad (Soledad O’Brien, BET News Digital) Disney Philanthropic Organization: Invest In Youth is hosting a new event that will take place on March 26th and 27th at 830 at Disneyland Corporate Offices in Anaheim California which is hoping to reach out to all communities, large and small, far, and wide, boys and girls, nonbinary, who are interested in math, technology, and science. We have always encouraged the youth of today to follow their dreams but lately, have noticed that we may have fallen short in reaching out to those communities who may not have the resources and funding to make things happen for their children. This event is not about reaching out to a class of people but ALL people.

Every community will have the opportunity to participate in the event and there will be two days that they can come to the event, and they can also virtually attend it as well. There will be strict covid protocols in place for those who do attend as we are still in the midst of a global pandemic so every safety precaution will be taken to ensure that everyone who attends will be safe. We do recommend that those who are vaccinated attend and those who are not watch virtually but it is up to them.

There will also be demonstrations from different kids and adults to show the benefits of STEM and diversity and inclusion from actual STEM scientists and mathematicians who themselves can tell how math and science have benefitted their lives and where they came from and how innercity kids can benefit from having these programs in their communities. You will have a whole

new way of looking at STEM and seeing the rewards and challenges and the kids participating as well.

The important thing about this event is that it strives to give back to the community and that is something that Bob Chepak lives by. It is something that he quotes daily.
