My Self-Reflection

How did this course provide relevance and knowledge that can be applied to my future courses in hopes for success with my degree? This course not only fulfilled my expectations, but also provided me with great experience throughout the duration of the class. I was given the opportunity to learn how to effectively communicate in my field of study, strengthen my communication, and to develop more communication skills I had not known before. Having strong communication skills could overall help with how we interact with people through the Internet, in public, in presentations amongst a large mass of people, and etc. The knowledge of having effective communication can be applied within my field of study—especially with my Psychology major, can help me distribute helpful tools and guidance to individuals in need. Solid relational abilities gained from college preparation are one of the most effective skills an understudy can learn. By giving cautious consideration in class, intellectually putting away the information for future use and using it appropriately in the work environment once I have acquired a great position in a lofty organization, I feel that I can upgrade the organization that chooses to incorporate comfort into their overlap. Being utilized by a legitimate and regarded organization implies that I will be aware of their tactics that helped them to turn out to be such an enormous enterprise and supported them in their prosperity. I will

2 endeavor to both utilize and enhance their procedures if I am capable of the goal that I will become an integral part of the organization. Joining the positions of an organization and fitting in through a legitimate correspondence convention can upgrade my worth. Similarly, as with anything, we as a whole have deficiencies that can mess us up in our careers, but with legitimate preparation, and by taking consideration with imprudent practices, anybody can prevail in business. With Computer Science, correspondence is basic since one common misconception expression or missed accentuation on an information stream can make the entire framework neglect to work. Editing, approaching others for help, and additional time spent on research can help in forestalling these issues. Finally, with the resources that Grand Canyon University has provided me. I know that within my studies and future endeavors into my field of career, I can provide knowledge to my future clients in making sure they have the correct management to succeed in their personal, occupational, and social set of circumstances. Not only will I have expertise guidance, but can effectively portray my understanding from this class to others that may not have the opportunities I had been given. Also, with strengths of communication can help with setting a positive work environment which can ease the thoughts and feelings of others I work with and around me. Presenting a safe, and positive atmosphere can encourage others to feel the necessity to do the same so that we can overall achieve the goal of a somewhat perfect industry. Learning and sharpening great basic reasoning aptitudes is ground-breaking forever long students in regular day to day existence. It is another valuable apparatus in your instrument belt that encourages you to recognize data through the way toward deriving, dissecting, assessing, deciphering, clarifying, and blending (Soloman, Wilson, and Taylor, 2012).

3 In conclusion, effective communication can be used in all forms of media. Compelling relational abilities can help in making a positive workplace and help in obtaining and keeping up an amazing situation in a vocation upon graduation. Whether that would be in-person, through online, or in front of a group setting, keeping great engagement consistently can promote affirmation throughout the atmosphere of place. At the point when you recognize data, you improve your dynamic and critical thinking abilities. At the end of the day, you settle on better choices, which could prompt fewer issues (Grand Canyon University, n.d.) Therefore, adapting the communication skills learned into now and the future will guarantee me an effective, and positive way of life.
