Mission Statement: A formal summary of the aims and values of a company, organization, or individual. Ethics: Branch of philosophy that involves systematizing, defending, and recommending concepts of right and wrong conduct. Critical Thinking: The objective analysis and evaluation of an issue in order to form a judgment. Affirmative Action: Refers to admission policies that provide equal access to education for those groups that have been historically excluded or underrepresented, such as women and minorities. Social Order: Is contrasted to social chaos or disorder, and refers to a stable state of society in which the existing social order is accepted and maintained by its members. Human Rights: Rights inherent to all human beings, whatever our nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethnic origin, color, religion, language, or any other status. We are all equally entitled to our human rights without discrimination. Sociology: Is the scientific study of social behavior or society, including its origins, development, organization, networks, and institutions. Civil and Political Rights: Class of rights that protect individuals' freedom from infringement by governments, social organizations and private individuals, and which ensure one's ability to participate in the civil and political life of the society and state without discrimination or repression. Equality: The quality or state of being equal: the quality or state of having the same rights, social status, etc. Social Injustice: As the denial or violation of economic, sociocultural, political, civil, or human rights of specific populations or groups in a society based on the perception of their inferiority by those with more power or influence. Core Values: Are the guiding principles that dictate behavior and action. Philosophy: Is the study of the general and fundamental nature of reality, existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language....
