Teens Abusing Social Media Teens who are addicted and abusing social media tend to isolate themselves and decrease their daily efficiency which will become a problem in the future. Many of the words in social media have an effect on teens' word cloud, showing diversion in the ways people think about social media and how it can be damaging long-term to teenagers. “Words such as teenagers, social, concern, addiction, interacting, and using social media platforms question the idea of if social media can relate to these impactful words and can they be considered harmful” (Gulf News, 2021). Readers will also notice smaller words such as lifestyle, danger, privacy, future, and opportunities are all examples of what can be affected by social media abuse and use by teenagers (Gulf News, 2021). It is often overlooked that people consume too much social media and it can be seen as normal, but quickly affect their daily lives and can particularly dangerous to the growing teenage mind. The reader can begin to notice how social media can change the way people expect reality and compare themselves to others negatively. Being addicted to social media system also “praises an entertainment system” (Gulf News, 2021), rather than forcing people to create natural ways to entertain their everyday lives. In conclusion, the Social Media Effect on Teens word cloud highlights words that can show negativity within social media use for teens and how it can increasingly become dangerous for our future.
