Step Two: Write a self-evaluation. Discuss your own performance in this speech and rate yourself on vocal performance, organizational strategy (proper introduction, body & conclusion), and content. What did you do well? What will you do differently before your next speech to make it go more smoothly or to improve?

Overall, I think my speech was somewhat successful. I would rate myself a 6 out of 10 just for effort; but it was my first speech, so I know I will get better at it. My vocal performance was alright, I spoke pretty loud, but sometimes I would stutter. I think I was pretty much organized I had an creative introduction where I started off with a quote and three body paragraphs that consist of the three objects that are significant to me. I was pretty forgetful when it was time for me to show the objects and I ended up showing them at the end; which is pretty bad on my part, but overall I think I did well in the interaction between me and my audience. In my next speech, I will try to remember the instructions and be more prepared. I will also work on managing my time more because the initial speech took over 10 minutes. For my next speech, I want create vivid connectives between each object to aid in the flow....
